Community Involvement
There are many opportunities for the community to make a difference for children in Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools. The School System has a goal to raise student achievement for ALL students. We believe in this goal and we are committed to keeping our focus on reading, writing and math.
With support from the community we know that we will be more effective and efficient in helping every child succeed.
Parent Organizations
Parents play a vital role to their child’s success in and outside of the school environment. Each Clarksville-Montgomery County school has a parent organization eager to welcome new members. For contact info about a specific school’s parent organization please click on the school of your choice under Schools.
Community Volunteers
We are always in need of good people who are willing to work with students. If you can spend some time helping a child at school, you can make a positive difference in the life of a child and a life-long impact on your community. Contact Dr. Kimi Sucharski at (931) 920-7813 if you have an interest in volunteering in the schools.
Facilities Use Application
School facilities are available to the public for approved events during non-classroom hours. If you would like information on reserving a school facility, please click here for application and guidelines.
Parent Information Network
PIN (Parent Information Network) is a grassroots organization that began in 2003 as a small but committed group of concerned parents who initiated a campaign to promote adequate local funding for education. The group now works to report factual information about the issues that affect our community and issues that specifically impact children. The organization currently serves more than 3,600 members made up of parents, extended family members, and other interested citizens in our community. In Spring 2005, PIN received national recognition for their communication efforts. If you are interested in receiving the information provided by PIN please click here, or visit the PIN website.
