Clarksville-Montgomery County School System recognizes the important connection between parent involvement and student achievement. Parents are a child’s first and most important teachers. Below you will find a comprehensive list of dates and other information that will impact your child’s education and school schedule.
Following are some important dates and other miscellaneous information to keep parents connected through the school year.
Checking Grades
A new program called PowerSchool allows parents to track their child’s grades and progress in every class. Passwords for parents to access their child’s account will be available at the schools.

Report Cards
December 19; March 13; May 22
End of year report cards may be obtained at the school or by providing the school with a self addressed envelope.
High School Graduation Dates
May 22 Clarksville 4 p.m. ; Northwest 7 p.m.
May 23 Northeast 9 a.m. ; Montgomery Central noon; Kenwood 3 p.m.; Rossview 6 p.m.
High School Programs
Credit recovery – a before and after school intervention program to help high school students graduate on time
Virtual high school – a targeted online program for juniors and seniors who are at risk of not graduating
Bridges – an intervention program designed to help struggling students be academically successful in high school
Summer school – offered to middle and high school students to earn the credits they need to graduate from high school
Read 180 – a research-based reading program to help students acquire the reading skills needed to read on grade level
AVID – a four-year program designed to help high school students gain the skills necessary to succeed in college
Language! – a reading intervention program to help elementary, middle and high school students with special needs
Vocabulary strategies - a language intervention language program used to build the vocabulary base of students
Freshmen academies – a structured way to keep freshmen students focused on their instruction and successfully integrate them into high school
Specialized academies – matches students’ career interests and abilities with their curriculum
